About LineupMeter
LineupMeter estimates who will start in Major League Baseball games, and shows its work.
What we do
For each game we plan to publish a projected lineup for both teams, a start probability for every player, a projected batting order and a probable starting pitcher. When the official lineup is posted, we show it next to our projection. Over the season we keep a public record of how accurate we were. See our methodology and accuracy policy.
The site is in preparation. Daily projections are planned for spring training and the 2027 regular season.
Who we are
LineupMeter is written and maintained by the LineupMeter team. We do not publish individual bylines; every page is the team's responsibility, and our editorial policy explains how pages are written, checked and corrected.
How the site is funded
LineupMeter is funded by display advertising only. We do not use affiliate links, and advertisers have no say over what we publish. Ads are not running yet; when they are added, our privacy policy will be updated first.
Independence
LineupMeter is an independent website operated from Sweden. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Major League Baseball (MLB), MLB Advanced Media, the MLB Players Association or any MLB club. MLB and team names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the teams, players and games we cover. We do not use league or team logos. Our projected lineups, start probabilities and other figures are our own estimates, not official information, and they can be wrong. Check the official lineup before you rely on it.
